Milan is ready for the next meeting with Leo’s lawyer amid the dressing room contract

A report has claimed that if Raphael Liao’s contract with Milan is renewed in the coming weeks, there will be talks about a dressing room deal.

Tuto Sport (via Milan News) reports that Leo returned to training yesterday after another few days off following his World Cup appearance, and now Stefano Pioli is hoping for some good news on his extension.

The newspaper claims that Milan will do anything to convince him to extend his contract, and that’s why they are willing to offer the highest possible wages, and there is some very important news coming from the Rossoneri dressing room.

Lao is not seen by the team as a front-runner in the race for a raise. Instead, they all understand Leo’s importance and so nobody would object if Paolo Maldini and Ricci Massara offered around €7 million net per season to convince him to extend.

Managers hope that January will be decisive in the long series as a new meeting with French lawyer Ted Dimola – who is representing Leao – is scheduled to take place.

English clubs are watching closely and are ready to make a move, but there is no chance of that happening in January and if he rejects Milan’s offers, a sale will only be considered next summer.
